アメリカのフライングマシンプレスから刊行されたフレンチ・エアクラフト・オブ・ザ・ファーストワールドウォー。すなわち第一次世界大戦期のフランス空軍軍用機の解説書です。1997年の初版。発刊時に出品者がアメリカの書店から通販で購入したものです。全618ページのハードカバー大判豪華本。収録されている機体数はおよそ400種。1000枚近いレアな当時の写真、25ページにわたるカラーイラスト。折り込みも含めた多数の図面。図面で掲載されている機体は1/72もしくは1/48スケールとあって極めて資料性の高い書籍となっています。 
 
現品のコンディションは購入以来というもの購入時に入っていた段ボール製の外箱に収めたままだったこともあり表紙、内部ページ共にダメージはありません。25年前の書籍ですがコンディションは良好。古い書籍でもあることから未使用に近いとしましたが、実際にはほぼ新品です。第一次世界大戦のフランス軍用機とは実にマニアックなジャンルではありますが、この分野における超一級の資料本だと思います。2002年と2009年に再版されている様ですが、現時点で版元は撤退し刊行済みのものは全て絶版。過去に販売されたものが流通しているだけです。
