長年、この男の実体がわからず、アードネスという名前は本名ではないことはわかっていたものの、詳しいことは何ひとつわかりませんでした。
松田道弘さんの『世界のマジシャン フーズフー』によると、

ということです。
この本には、 Expert at the Card Table ではわかりにくい技法の解説もさらに詳しく載っています。ボトムディールの解説としてはこれ以上詳しいものはないでしょう。
434ページもある分厚い本ですが、よくできたドキュメントを読んでいるようで、厚さは気になりません。
出版された数があまり多くなかったのか、今では海外でもかなりのレア本になっています。
★19年前の本ですが、ほとんど問題はありません。書き込み、折れ、変色もほとんどありません。
